This week, the Valgamaa Vocational Education Center welcomed international guests who came to learn about the organization and teaching methods of Estonian vocational education. On Monday, October 28, the school hosted directors from vocational schools in the Volyn region and representatives from the Ukrainian Ministry of Education. The guests praised the Valgamaa Vocational Education Center, expressing admiration for the high standards and organization of Estonian vocational education.

Later in the week, on October 30-31, teachers Jennifer Meléndez Luces and Alexandra Gemma Pose Mora from CPR Liceo La Paz in Galicia, Spain, visited the school as part of a job-shadowing week. Through the Erasmus+ project, they explored how Valga integrates foreign language and vocational education. The Spanish teachers also enjoyed the meals prepared by K23 and K23k culinary students, giving them a taste of local cuisine.

The Spanish colleagues expressed hope that Valgamaa Vocational Education Center’s teachers and students could visit their school in Galicia soon for further exchange of experiences.
