Valga and Valka students begin a study trip within the “Hack the Border” project

Date created 09.02.2026

Today, on 9 February, students from Valga and Valka started a two-day study trip as part of the “Hack the Border” project, supported by the Estonia–Latvia INTERREG (Est-Lat) Programme. The aim of the trip is to provide young people with practical and inspiring insights into different business models and event management approaches, so they can apply what they learn to their own project ideas.

Over the two days, students will meet representatives of various organisations and businesses and explore different ways of creating services and organising events that bring value to the community. The experience will help participants understand the key steps needed to turn an idea into action — from defining the concept and target audience to planning, communication, marketing, partnerships, and practical implementation.

The knowledge and inspiration gained during the study trip will be used by the participants in their “Hack the Border” project teams, supporting further development of their initiatives and planning the next activities through cross-border cooperation. #estlatprogramme #hackthebordersvalgka #vkok
