On 11 December, a Christmas fair was held at Jānis Cimze Gymnasium in Valka, where students from Valga County Vocational Training Centre participated together with their Latvian peers.
The idea and opportunity for this cooperation became reality thanks to the INTERREG Estonia–Latvia 2021–2027 programme project “Hack the Border” and the hackathon held in Kääriku, where the Student Exchange project group agreed on its first joint activities.
Now the first step towards international cooperation has been taken – on 18 December, Valga County Vocational Training Centre will host its Latvian partners to take part in the Christmas fair and related activities.
Great achievements start with small steps.
