Erasmus+ KA1 study projects

What is the Erasmus+ programme?

Erasmus+,is a support program financed by the European Union, is one of the most used opportunities to get a different experience of living and working abroad, to find new friends, to practice the acquired foreign language(s) and, of course, to travel. The Erasmus+ program covers the costs associated with the student's internship abroad (preparation costs, transportation, insurance and living expenses) according to the budget established for the destination country, the student only has the pleasure of traveling there and completing the internship. The program allows you to participate in an online language course for free!

Nine good students of Valgamaa Vocational Education Center participated in an internship abroad in Turkey as part of the Erasmus+ project. Motor vehicle technicians, carpenters, cooks and logisticians participated in this project. In addition to the internship, they had a great opportunity to get to know the Turkish culture and discover the sights there. Young people could go on various outings on weekends and arrange their free time according to their wishes. The internships were located in Antalya for all students, they were Konyaalt city government institutions. The students were able to experience how different the customs and traditions of Turkey are from those of Estonia. The interns had a very good experience and were generally satisfied with the organizers and organization of the Erasmus+ project. The young people who participated in the project encourage all students who want to take part in an internship abroad. In January, 4 carpenters will go to Turkey again for an internship and to discover the world, from February 6 students will go to discover Spain and do an internship. With Erasmus, we have been sending students on internships for quite a few years, and most importantly, even age is not important for going on an internship - Erasmus+ study migration is intended for everyone who studies at the Valgamaa Vocational Training Center and has a company internship scheduled according to the curriculum.
