On 16 April, the young participants of the *Hack the Border Est-Lat* project set off on their second study trip, which will last from 16 to 17 April. The aim of the trip is to provide them with new ideas, practical experience and valuable advice for further developing their own initiatives and project ideas. This study trip is an important part of the project process, as it gives participants the opportunity to explore different approaches, learn from the experience of others and find inspiration for improving their own ideas.
Students from Valgamaa Vocational Education Centre, Valga Gymnasium and Valka Jānis Cimze Gymnasium are taking part in the trip. During the two-day programme, the participants will visit a number of inspiring places and organisations, including the DARE co-creation workshop in Valmiera, Valmiera Technical School, meetings with the event organisers of *Eži.LV*, and a visit to the *Valmiermuiža* brewery. On the second day, the programme continues in Sigulda and Riga, where the participants will enjoy a multimedia art experience dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci and visit the Riga Motor Museum.
The *Hack the Border* project is now approaching its final phase. On 7 May, a final event will take place at the Valka Culture House, where the young participants will present their ideas, share the work they have done and talk about what valuable knowledge and experience they have gained through the project. The final event will also provide an opportunity to look back on the entire journey of the project and highlight the benefits of international cooperation, teamwork and hands-on participation.
One of the greatest values of this project is undoubtedly the opportunity for young people to get to know one another. This is the force that helps overcome not only national borders, but also mental borders. Working together, exchanging ideas and building cooperation creates a strong foundation for future communication, trust and new joint initiatives.

**Hack the Border Est-Lat projekta dalībnieki uzsāka otro mācību braucienu**
16. aprīlī projekta *Hack the Border Est-Lat* dalībnieki devās savā otrajā mācību braucienā, kas ilgs no 16. līdz 17. aprīlim. Mācību brauciena mērķis ir sniegt jauniešiem jaunas idejas, praktisku pieredzi un vērtīgus ieteikumus savu ieceru un projektu ideju pilnveidošanai. Tas ir nozīmīgs posms projekta gaitā, jo dod iespēju iepazīt dažādas pieejas, mācīties no citu pieredzes un gūt iedvesmu savu ideju attīstīšanai.
Mācību braucienā piedalās Valgas Profesionālās izglītības centra, Valgas ģimnāzijas un Valkas Jāņa Cimzes ģimnāzijas skolēni. Divu dienu laikā jaunieši apmeklēs vairākas interesantas vietas un organizācijas, tostarp DARE koprades darbnīcu Valmierā, Valmieras tehnikumu, tiksies ar *Eži.LV* pasākumu organizatoriem un apmeklēs *Valmiermuiža* alus darītavu. Otrajā dienā programmā ir Sigulda un Rīga, kur dalībniekus gaida multimediju mākslas pieredze par Leonardo da Vinči un Rīgas Motormuzeja apmeklējums.
Projekts *Hack the Border* tuvojas noslēguma posmam. Jau 7. maijā Valkas Kultūras namā notiks noslēguma pasākums, kurā jaunieši prezentēs savas idejas, dalīsies ar paveikto un stāstīs par to, ko vērtīgu viņi guvuši, piedaloties projektā. Tas būs arī brīdis atskatīties uz visu projekta laikā paveikto un izcelt ieguvumus, ko devusi starptautiskā sadarbība, kopīgs darbs un praktiska iesaiste.
Viena no šī projekta lielākajām vērtībām ir jauniešu savstarpējā iepazīšanās. Tas ir spēks, kas palīdz pārvarēt ne tikai valstu robežas, bet arī domāšanas robežas. Kopīga darbošanās, ideju apmaiņa un sadarbība veido stipru pamatu turpmākai saziņai, uzticībai un jaunu iniciatīvu attīstībai nākotnē.
